Your adventure begins in Maun, Botswana, with a scenic light aircraft flight into the Delta. Your journey begins in Maun, where you will board a light aircraft for a spectacular scenic flight over the Delta to Oddballs’ Enclave. This secluded camp, set on a small island bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, offers an intimate start to your safari. You will be greeted by your private guide, a local expert who will introduce you to the camp and the surrounding delta. Settle into your mini-Meru tent, complete with an al fresco bucket shower, and enjoy the peaceful evening watching wildlife from the raised viewing deck.

After breakfast, your guide will lead you on the signature activity: a Mokoro excursion. Glide silently through the Delta's clear, winding channels in the traditional dugout canoe, offering an incredibly tranquil way to observe the abundant birdlife, red lechwe, and other wetland species. In the afternoon, embark on a Guided Walking Safari across nearby islands, including a walk onto Chief’s Island. This is a rare opportunity to focus on tracking, smaller creatures, and the intricate ecosystem of the Okavango Delta, giving you a true immersion into the Botswana wilderness.
After a final morning activity in the Delta, you will be transferred by air back to Maun, followed by a connecting flight to Camp Savuti, located in the famed Savuti Marsh area of Chobe National Park. Savuti is known for its high concentrations of wildlife and dramatic predator encounters. In the afternoon, you will immediately embark on your first game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle. Search for the legendary Savuti lions and vast herds of elephants drawn to the area’s water sources.
Dedicate the entire day to exploring the diverse habitats of the Savuti Marsh. The famous Savuti Channel attracts an incredible array of species, offering phenomenal photo opportunities. Your guide will take you to waterholes and along the ancient riverbed, pointing out leopards, wild dogs, and different antelope species. Enjoy a secluded bush lunch, maximizing your time immersed in this incredible landscape. This full day in Savuti is the highlight of the land-based portion of your Okavango Delta and Savuti Safari.
