Your journey begins in Maun, where you will be met and transferred by light aircraft to Grasslands Bushman Lodge, situated on a 15,000-hectare private reserve bordering the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. After a quick orientation and lunch, embark on your first afternoon game drive to explore the Kalahari grasslands. The evening concludes with a traditional dinner and wildlife viewing from the lodge, which overlooks a floodlit waterhole, offering spectacular opportunities to observe nocturnal visitors.

The highlight of your Kalahari experience takes place today with an immersive cultural interaction with the San Bushmen. You will spend the morning foraging with a local clan, learning ancient desert survival skills, including tracking, how to source water, and identifying edible and medicinal plants. In the afternoon, the immersion continues with storytelling, learning traditional fire-making techniques, and participating in games, providing profound insights into one of the world's oldest cultures.

Today is dedicated to conservation and exploration. Start the morning with a visit to the lodge's unique Predator Project, diving deep into the efforts to rescue and rehabilitate species like African Wild Dogs, Lions, and Cheetahs. The afternoon offers a choice of two thrilling activities: tracking White Rhinos on foot with an experienced guide, or, for the more adventurous, a horseback safari through the untamed landscapes, allowing you to get uniquely close to the wildlife.

After a final breakfast overlooking the Kalahari plains, take a light aircraft transfer from Grasslands to the heart of the Okavango Delta and Oddballs' Enclave. This transfer provides spectacular aerial views of the changing landscape. Upon arrival, meet your private guide and immediately experience the Delta's tranquility on a mokoro (traditional dug-out canoe) excursion, silently navigating the narrow, crystal-clear channels.

Today is devoted to the true essence of the Okavango Delta – exploration on foot. Your private guide will pole you across the water to the edge of the game-rich Chief's Island. Here, you will spend the morning tracking and walking among large game, including Elephant and Buffalo, providing a truly exhilarating and intimate perspective on the wilderness. The afternoon includes more mokoro time, often culminating in a stunning Delta sunset.

Enjoy a flexible day dedicated to slow safari. You can opt for a longer, full-day mokoro and walking adventure with a picnic lunch enjoyed on a remote island. Alternatively, you may choose to visit an authentic local BaYei village with your guide, offering a fascinating glimpse into the daily life and traditions of the people of the Okavango. The focus remains on absorbing the serene atmosphere and abundant birdlife of the Delta.

The journey continues with a scenic light aircraft flight to the Savuti region in Chobe National Park and Camp Savuti. This area is world-renowned for its dramatic predator encounters and massive elephant population. After settling into your tented accommodation, you'll head out on an afternoon game drive in an open 4x4 vehicle, beginning your search for the famous Savuti wildlife in the vast marsh and surrounding plains.

Spend the entire day exploring the Savuti region, famous for its unique ecological features and exceptional game viewing. The morning drive will focus on tracking the area’s legendary lions, known for their unusual hunting techniques, as well as searching for other predators like cheetah and the elusive African Wild Dog. The evening is spent around the campfire, followed by a fantastic opportunity for stargazing under the clear African night sky.

The day begins with a cultural twist as you visit the ancient San rock paintings at the rocky Gubatsa Hills, a landmark in the otherwise flat landscape. The final afternoon game drive is focused on the Savuti Channel, observing the high concentration of game that gathers to drink, offering superb photographic opportunities and a chance to witness the intricate dynamics between prey and predator.

Enjoy one final morning activity or a leisurely breakfast overlooking the Savuti Channel. You will then be transferred to the local airstrip for your light aircraft flight back to Maun, marking the conclusion of your diverse and unforgettable Botswana safari.
