A Taste Of What To Expect..
The best of Namibia tour will give you a chance to explore both parks, desert and the diverse culture. The tour will include guided tour of himba culture, Etosha national park in Namibia and game drives at Waterberg plateau park. Other places of interest to be visited are Kamanjap for the himba culture, Twyfelfontein for the bushman engravings, Sesriem for dunes, Swakopmund for quad biking, sand surfing, dolphin cruise and township tour.
Day One: Arrival in windhoek Namibia
Guests will arrive at windhoek international airport be met by a guide who will take them to the hotel or lodge for check-in. Depending on the time they will arrive, in most cases the tour will begin the next day as most international flights arrive early morning.

Day Two & Three: Tour of Dune 45 Dead vlei, Sesriem canyon and sunset tour of Dune Elim
In the morning after breakfast we will depart windhoek going to Sesrium which is 305 km, the activities to be done include tour of Dune 45, Dead vlei, sesriem canyon and Dune Elim for the sunset tour.
Sesriem is also known for Sesriem Canyon, about 4 km from Sesriem itself, which is the second most important tourist attraction in the area after Sossusvlei. It is a natural canyon carved by the Tsauchab River in the local sedimentary rock, about a kilometre (0.6 mile) long and up to 30 meters (100 feet) deep.
Dune 45 is a star dune in the Sossusvlei area of the Namib Desert in Namibia. Its name comes from the fact that it is at the 45th kilometre of the road that connects the Sesriem gate and Sossusvlei. Standing over 170 m,[1] it is composed of 5-million-year-old sand that is detritus accumulated by the Orange River from the Kalahari Desert and then blown here.

Day Four & Five: Swakopmund tour, dolphin cruise & township experience
We depart Sesriem at 8:00 am after breakfast, after having experienced the namibian desert our main focus will now be on the cultural experience and game drive that we will experience as we continue with our tour. The activities in Swakopmund include township tour, dolphin cruise, quad biking and 30 minutes scenic flight tour over dunes.

Day Six: Experience Himba culture & Twyfelfontein bushman paintings
We depart Swakopmund at 07:00 am after breakfast. We will drive towards Twyfelfontein which is 355 km from Swakopmund. We will drive via Brandberg where guests will see the white lady rock painting.
Our destination is Twyfelfontein where we will go and see the bushman engravings and home to one of the largest concentrations of rock petroglyphs in Africa, and Desert Adapted Elephant and Nature Drive is a guided tour which can be done either in the morning.

Day Seven & Eight: Himba cultural tour and Games drive at Etosha park okukuejo
We drive from Twelfoitein via Himba village at Kamajap where we experience the Himba culture and learn how live in their habitat.
At the end of the 19th century, Namibia was plagued by a relentless bovine epidemic. Most of the cattle that the Herero depended on perished, and the tribe faced a great crisis. Subsequently, the tribe moved south and started to explore different regions to enhance their chances of survival. Still, some members decided to stay and rather struggle for survival in familiar territories All meals will be served at the lodge.
It will be a stopover for 1 hour then our trip will continue till we arrive at Etosha National park. The activities which awaits guests at Okaukuejo are game drives and game walks or just to seat by the waterhole and watch wildlife coming to drink water. This water is very active during day as many animals frequent it very much. On a good day there are chances of witnessing a kill at the waterhole. A great opportunity for photos.

Day Nine: Game drives at Etosha National park namibia
At 8 am will drive about 150 km to Namutoni which is the eastern point to Etosha national park, the activity at Etosha national park will include game drives and game walks where possible depending on the guide's recommendation.
Mammals that are common to Etosha National Park include the African bush elephant, the southern white rhino, the southwestern black rhino, the African buffalo, the Angolan giraffe, the southwest African lion, the African leopard, the South African cheetah, servals, caracals, African wildcats, black footed cats, black backed jackals, Cape foxes, brown hyenas, spotted hyenas, a variety of mongooses, meerkats, warthogs, zebras, hartebeests, wildebeests, and common elands, among many other species. There is a very large and diverse bird population in Etosha National Park and species include vultures, storks, hornbills, waterfowl, falcons, bustards, herons, owls, and many more. Lunch is served at the lodge the rest of the afternoon guests will do the activities.

Day Ten: Waterberg Plateau & game drives tour
We will drive in the morning at 8 am to Waterberg where we will do activities which include Sundowner on Mount Olympus at the edge of Kalahari, do a game drive through the African bush savannah at the foot of the Waterberg. We almost always rub shoulders with rhino. With a little luck you will encounter game such as giraffe, oryx and eland, red hartebeest, blue wildebeest and kudu.
The other activity will be to learn more about the Waterberg battle which gives an insight back in history to a site of the Battle of Waterberg (1904) and to a camp for Herero refugees (1906) – events that influence Namibian-German relations till today. Information boards outline and explain the unfolding of the shared history of Herero and Germans.

Day Eleven: Departure from Waterberg Plateau park
The day will begin with a morning game drive, then mid-morning we depart Waterberg plateau national park going to Windhoek, we will stop on the way to refresh. Expected time of arrival will be in the afternoon. After check-in guests may spend the rest of the day at the hotel or opt to do shopping for souvenirs at the markets in Windhoek town.

Day Twelve: End of tour and departure
